If you love buying locally grown fruits and veggies, beautiful plants and flowers, and other locally grown and/or made products, then our Portsmouth Farmer's Market every Saturday morning is the place for YOU!!

The Seacoast Growers' Association has been in existence for 31 years now, and has local Farmer's Markets in six locations throughout the week.  Saturdays are the day for Portsmouth to shine with local products. 

Located in the Portsmouth City Hall parking lot, the Seacoast Growers' Association vendors happily sell their wares from 8am to 1pm, with many of them offering samples of their new products.

To ensure locally made and grown products are of the highest quality, the 50+ vendors are periodically audited by the Seacoast Growers' Association.  These audits help the association keep up and maintain their reputation of having the best local products and wares for all of us to buy each week. 

 

I stopped by the Farmer's Market this morning, and discovered a wonderful new vendor that I had not seen there before - Jewell Towne Winery.  They've got some wonderful wines they're selling at the Farmer's Market, and I saw a number of people buying them up.  Several of the customers who were there when I stopped by were raving about the varieties they had already tried at home.  If you enjoy wine, check out their wines.  And if you're in South Hampton NH, stop by their winery for a tour and tastings.

 

A number of the vendors display yummy looking fruits and vegetables - I came home with some beautiful tomatoes this morning!  Can't wait to slice those up!  Corn, potatoes, squash, berries, and more - you name it, you can probably find it here throughout the summer into late fall!

Want some lamb?  How about some homemade soaps, candles, and creams?  Locally made herbal teas and extracts?  Plants for your garden?  Or how about some stunningly beautiful local photography - prints, cards, magnets, and more?  Fresh baked breads, cookies, and pies?  Beautiful pottery?  You can find all this and so much more at our terrific Portsmouth Farmer's Market!

   

Saturdays at the Market - what a perfect place to catch up with old friends, meet new friends, get fresh locally grown produce for the week, and listen to some wonderful local bands........it just doesn't get any better than this!!
