Stratham is home to rural working farms, new and newer home subdivisions and condominium  complexes, some smaller shopping centers, and wonderful peaceful country scenery.  The townspeople have done a very nice job of balancing quiet residential neighborhoods and commercial development.  Right alongside all of that are bucolic rolling farmlands.

Stratham Memorial SchoolStratham is home to Stratham Memorial School, which covers pre-school through 5th grade.  Students in 6th through 8th grade attend Exeter Regional Cooperative Middle School, and high school students attend Exeter Region Cooperative High School, located in Exeter NH.

An inclusion model of teaching is used in Stratham schools. All students are actively engaged in classroom activities. Challenged students work with typical students in the  classroom using a variety of methods and techniques to solve problems and learn from one another.  And in addition to being inclusive, teachers and staff use adaptive technologies to give all students equal opportunities for learning.

Stratham Memorial School has been a Blue Ribbon school for the past 5 years, and this is based upon NHPIE (New Hampshire Partners in Education). Parents are an integral part of the school community.   Parent volunteers are often seen helping out in classrooms throughout the school.
