Exeter NH Real Estate 2007 Market Recap

This past year in the Exeter New Hampshire real estate market, we saw the number of new listings that came on the market in 2007 drop quite a bit from 2006 for both Exeter homes and Exeter condos. The average days on the market for both homes and condos increased by a good amount.

This past year in the Exeter New Hampshire real estate market, we saw the number of new listings that came on the market in 2007 drop quite a bit from 2006 for both Exeter homes and Exeter condos.  The average days on the market for both homes and condos increased by a good amount.  Some of the other Seacoast towns saw about the same types of variations in their numbers, while others saw much less of a difference between the two years.

In the market we've been in, and are still experiencing, sellers MUST pay very close attention to what the market is saying about pricing.  Those who sold this past year or so priced their properties appropriately for the market at that point in time.  It's always important to properly price any property, and it will remain ever more important this year as well.

WELCOME
to the quaint little town of Exeter New Hampshire!

History and charm galore every where you look around town - it's certainly a pretty little town for sure!  A drive through the center of Exeter will make you feel like you're right smack dab in the middle of a Norman Rockwell painting

Located just minutes from commuter routes - 5-7 minutes to I-95, right off Route 101 (the major east-west highway) - this is a perfect spot for those looking for the great quality of life New Hampshire offers and are working out of the area

Not only does Exeter have terrific access for highways, you can hop on the Amtrak Downeaster and head south to Boston or north to Portland Maine.  Commuting north, east, south, or west just doesn't get much easier than it is from Exeter!  The University of New Hampshire is just about 15-20 minutes away, in Durham.  Exeter is just minutes away from area beaches along the ocean.  And it's just 15 minutes from all that Portsmouth has to offer!!

Exeter is just loaded with all kinds of history!  Did you know that Exeter used to be the state capital of New Hampshire?  It was indeed, during the Revolutionary War!

The holidays in New Hampshire and Maine, and especially in the Portsmouth Seacoast areas is really a wonderful time of year.  So much to do and see, and a light dusting of snow on the ground.....all you need is some beautiful Christmas and holiday music to round out the scene.

Here's one of the classic holiday favorites set to a video of beautiful Thomas Kinkade scenes from his winter scenery paintings.

If you love Christmas and holiday music as much as I do, you'll want to make sure you mark some of these concerts I listed below down on your schedule! Holiday concerts abound in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas right now!
