This is the 4th Mother’s Day without my mom, she’s been gone barely 3 years at this point, 3 years last month, and I sure miss her every day.

Portsmouth NH Real Estate - Seacoast Sunday Scenes - Coastal Lighthouses

Seacoast Sunday Scenes - This area is a lighthouse lovers paradise, since we have some really wonderful historic lighthouses here in this area.

Last Sunday, I decided to put up a post showing some scenes from around the New Hampshire and Maine Seacoast areasI started off with historic Portsmouth NH churches last week, it was Sunday and it was Easter, too, so I thought that appropriate.

This Sunday, I thought Id show you some of the wonderful lighthouses we have here along the coast of New Hampshire and along southern Maines coastline.

York Maine - Nubble Lighthouse or Cape Neddick Lighthouse - Ann Cummings Copyright 2007

Nubble Lighthouse, as most know it, is the most famous lighthouse here in this area.  Its real name is Cape Neddick Lighthouse, but Ive never heard too many call it that.

Isnt it beautiful?  Its just gorgeous to see in person!  Its in York Maine, actually Cape Neddick Maine, which is part of York.

Portsmouth New Hampshire Real Estate - Seacoast Sunday Scenes

Seacoast Sunday Scenes - Since this is Easter Sunday, I wanted to share some of our beautiful historic churches here in Portsmouth New Hampshire.

For readers of my New Hampshire Maine Real Estate blog, I thought I would take one post each Sunday and show you some scenes around the Seacoast area.  For those who live here, youll likely recognize most of what will show up here, and for those who dont yet live here, this will show you a little glimpse of what awaits you.

Since today is Easter Sunday, I thought Id show you some of the beautiful old historic churches we have here around Portsmouth NH

To see these historic churches in person is beautiful - each of these is magnificient in their own right.  Some of them have the most exquisite stained glass you could ever want to see.  The masonry and the woodworking in some of these churches is just gorgeous.

Portsmouth NH Real Estate - Spring Really is Coming!!

It's the first day of spring here in Portsmouth New Hampshire - I can't wait for our flowers to start bursting forth!

Spring in Portsmouth New Hampshire!

Today is the first day of spring, and here in Portsmouth NH, we are so ready for it! I know I certainly am!

Our snow is gone, and I'm really hoping we get no more, or none that lasts long at all. Pretty soon, we'll begin seeing the first little spring plants and flowers burst forth, proving to us that spring is here, even though we have the calendars that tell us so.

I thought, to celebrate today's arrival of the first day of spring here in the New Hampshire Maine Seacoast, I'd share some pictures that show what's to come, and to get us in the spring spirit - I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
