Comment from: Real Estate Agent Blogs [Visitor] Wow... you know I didn't know the Man in the Mountain slid off? Hmm... I can't believe that- great piece of trivia!
Comment from: ines [Visitor] There you are!!! Now THAT's what I'm talking about! a little inside info on Ann herself (and here I was giving Moni a hard time about you guys not doing your memes). It's like homework for the blogosphere. I am truly honored that you would consider me one of your favorite bloggers btw - thank you, thank you! but I think there's plenty of better ones out there.
Comment from: monika [Visitor] Nice meme Ann. I love the Celtic Woman too. Jay and I could listen to them for hours as well! Comment from: Ann.Cummings [Member] Mary - yep, sadly he slid off, and he's sorely missed, too. This was fun! Ines - it sure was 'blogosphere homework' - took me awhile to do this! I LOVE reading your blog - I never know what I'm going to find there! You weren't surprised by my artist choice? ;-) Monika - some day I'm going to go to one of their concerts - I just love listening to them. Their voices are like angels singing.
This was fun! Comment from: Mariana - Colorado Springs Real Estate [Visitor] Sail Away ... Awesome music choice . I love Celtic Women. SO COOL to know more about you, my friend! Comment from: Ann.Cummings [Member] Thanks Mariana! It was fun - took awhile, but it's fun to do, and more fun to read the other memes being done this time around. Thanks for including me! Comment from: Irina Netchaev [Visitor] Ann, what a great meme! I saw a PBS concert of Celtic Women and fell in love with them. I am hoping that they'll come to Pasadena one day for a concert. Maybe, you can come out and visit then and we'll see it together? Would be majorly cool! Comment from: Laurie Manny [Visitor] Hey Ann, I imagine that if we were women in your area a couple of hundred years ago, they would have burned us all at the stake as witches, lol... I have to believe the independant streak was there in other lives as well. No time like the present for sure. Loved the Celtic music, thanks. Comment from: Jeff Belonger [Visitor] Ann,
Overall, thanks for sharing this and for tagging me. As you already know, I was tagged earlier. And it's funny, you were one of the 8 that I was going to tag, but I figured that you were already tagged, even though this just started a few days ago. Knowing that you hang out with these other prolific bloggers, hence why I tried finding someone else. Just as I knew not to pick Ines or Brian Brady. But thanks for the mention. jeff Comment from: Cyndee Haydon [Visitor] Ann - Wow - loved learning more about you and must say Miamism is one of my favorites too! Ugh - Homework - I'm working on it - thanks for thinking of me girl!! Comment from: Ann.Cummings [Member] Irina - oh, I'd love to see them in concert with you - that would be awesome! I watch them on PBS when I know they're on, but seeing and hearing their whole production in person just has to be amazing. Laurie - hmmm, that would probably be true. We're too independent and free-thinking and smart - they'd surely think we were witches if we'd lived back then. Glad you enjoyed the music - they have so many really beautiful songs, but that's one of my favorites of theirs. Jeff - what a beautifully scenic jog that would be! Before too long, all of us that know each other will probably find we've been tagged, and likely tagged more than once, too. Cyndee - I'll be looking for your meme! It did feel like homework, too.... ;-) I love that this thing has started up again and it's so cool to take a deeper gander into the person that is Ann Cummings! Enjoy your week and I'm liking that Kinkade guy, I knew the name rang a bell somewhere. Comment from: Ann.Cummings [Member] Hey Jason - thanks for finding your way here! I like reading all the memes, too - fun to get more peeks into the people we interact with. Ah, you and Kinkade - ;-) Comment from: Jay McGillicuddy [Visitor] I love the Celtic women they were in Manchester not too long ago. I also have sat next to Cat Stevens and talked with him back in the early 70's when he played his Catch Bull at Four album. Comment from: Ann.Cummings [Member] Jay - did you see the Celtic Woman when they were in Manchester?? I'm jealous, if you did! I love old Cat Stevens songs from back then - I bet that was neat to talk with him. Ann - You are so educated on the arts - I am impressed. It is nice to get to know a little more about you. Kinkade is one of my favorite painters too. Comment from: Linda [Visitor] Ann - I really like your Meme! I love the Celtic women..they don't sound real sometimes! Very relaxing! Laurie's funny about you all being burned at the stake! LOL Comment from: Cindy DiCianni [Visitor] Hi Ann I just love the Celtic Women! I had gotten familar with them once I had found Enya! They are such talented women!! Just as we are in real estate! LOL
Comment from: Cindy DiCianni [Visitor] Hi Ann I just love the Celtic Women! I had gotten familar with them once I had found Enya! They are such talented women!! Just as we are in real estate! LOL Comment from: Ann.Cummings [Member] Judy - Kinkade does beautiful work, doesn't he? I never tire of looking at my paintings. Linda - glad you enjoyed it! I just love listening to the Celtic Woman - they sound just like angels on much of their music. I got a chuckle out of Laurie saying that, too. It's probably true, too! Cindy - they are talented for sure - would love to see them in concert. And yes, we ARE talented, aren't we? ;-) Comment from: Cindy DiCianni [Visitor] Ann, Got to see the Celtic Women here in Kansas City in March 08. Oh what a fabulous concert!! I think it was a little like heaven!! Comment from: Kathy McGraw [Visitor] Ann, It seems we actually have many things in common.....I remember buying 2 tickets for $200 to go see the Celtic Women in Griffith Park......it was absolutely beautiful. And one of the listings I have right now the owner collected Kinkade....I haven't seen that many expcept in the couple Kinkade shops I've been to. I love his work also. Anyway, nice....thanks. Comment from: Larry Yatkowsky [Visitor] It's taken me almost as long to find and follow the meme chain as it did to post my meme. The Old Man reminds me of the Reclining Lady we have on our mountain top. Problem is you can only see her if you are boating. She won't be sliding anywhere unless we have a massive earthquake. Much more famous, at least to us on the west coast, are the Three Lions. Of course, everything in the city is named after them including the suspension bridge that allows passage to that side of the inlet. No doubt you will see these views on TV when the 2010 Winter Olympics take place. Nice chatting and thanks for stopping by my way.
